FK Architecture Awards 2026 Robert and Joanne Koch Scholarship to Stella Willy

FK Architecture is proud to announce that Stella Willy has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Robert and Joanne Koch Scholarship for Architecture.

A recent graduate of Bishop Moore Catholic High School and an incoming architecture student at the University of Florida, Willy was selected from a competitive pool of applicants from Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.

The Robert and Joanne Koch Scholarship is a $2,500 merit-based award presented annually to a graduating high school senior from Orange, Osceola, or Seminole County who has been accepted into an accredited architecture program in Florida. Established in honor of Robert Koch, co-founder of Fugleberg Koch, and his late wife, Joanne, the scholarship reflects their enduring commitment to education, mentorship, and the advancement of future architects. The award recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence, personal achievement, and a passion for pursuing a career in architecture.

"Stella's application stood out because of her academic achievements, thoughtful perspective, and genuine passion for architecture," said Ken Linehan, AIA, Managing Principal at FK Architecture. "We are excited to support her as she begins her architectural education and look forward to seeing where her career takes her."

Willy will use the scholarship toward tuition, housing, and educational expenses as she pursues her bachelor's degree in architecture at the University of Florida.

"I am incredibly grateful for this scholarship and for the generosity and support it represents as I begin this exciting next chapter," said Willy. "It means so much to know that professionals in the field are willing to invest in students like me. Thank you for believing in my future and helping me take the next steps toward a career in architecture."

Applications for the 2027 scholarship will open in early 2027. Interested students can visit www.fkcompanies.com for additional information and eligibility requirements.
