FK Architecture & Habitat for Humanity Team Up, Published in Commercial Construction Magazine

FK Architecture is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity and Apopka for Women Build to raise money and help provide affordable housing in our community. The ribbon-cutting for 905 South Holly Avenue in Sanford took place on September 25th and is the 200th home built by Habitat in Seminole County.

“Giving back to our community has always been one of our firm’s core principles,” said Kimberly Hellekson, Managing Principal of FK Architecture. “As a team, we are so proud to have the opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity for Women Build 2021. It is a special project where we can all come together to build an affordable, safe and solid home for a local family. We cannot wait to share in their excitement as they enter their new home in September.”

“One in six Floridians face unaffordable housing costs every month, and it is with the support of building partners like FK Architecture that we can help to decrease those numbers,” said Penny Seater, CEO of Habitat for Humanity, Seminole County.
