Auburn University, Interior Design

Lian Montgomery is an Interior Design Intern at FK Interiors and a student at Auburn University, where she is pursuing her degree in Interior Design. With a passion for creating thoughtful, functional spaces, she is interested in how interior environments can enhance the way people experience, connect, and interact within a space.

At FK Architecture, Lian supports the Interiors Department across multifamily and amenity projects, gaining hands-on experience in interior specifications, material and finish selections, furniture, and the design development process. With her attention to detail and thoughtful approach, Lian brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to each project while continuing to develop her understanding of the design process. Her experience working alongside the design team has strengthened her ability to translate creative ideas into cohesive, functional interiors. Ultimately, Lian is interested in creating meaningful environments that improve everyday experiences and demonstrate genuine care for both people and place.
