New Talent, New Ideas: Meet Lily and Aylin

At FK Architecture, new voices and emerging talent play an important role in shaping the future of our practice. We are excited to introduce two team members who bring fresh ideas, creativity, and energy to the studio: Lily, our newest Graphic Designer, and Aylin Rodriguez, who has transitioned from summer intern to full-time Architectural Intern. While their roles support different parts of our work, both share a curiosity for design and a passion for learning that strengthens our collaborative culture.

Lily Vick | Graphic Designer

FK Architecture is proud to welcome Graphic Designer Lily Vick to the firm. Vick’s creativity complements FK’s mission to deliver excellence in design. As part of the Marketing & Communications team, Vick will support the firm’s brand, communications, and visual presence across digital and print platforms to ensure cohesive, high-quality design.

“Lily’s experience in graphic design, art, and illustration will help us further internal and external communications with engaging visuals,” said FK Architecture Managing Principal Kimberly Hellekson, AIA. “We are excited for her to work with our various teams to support client and firm priorities.”

Vick holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design, with an emphasis in visual development and a minor in creative writing. She graduated with honors in May 2024 and has previously served as a pre-college teaching assistant, designer, and artist. Vick is well-versed in many Adobe design programs and other digital resources for graphic design, project management, and productivity.

“I am excited to join such an incredible architectural design firm and work collaboratively with staff and clients to visually tell the story of the firm and client projects in an enhanced way,” said Vick. “I enjoy the process of taking a design from an initial concept to final development.”

In addition to her graphic design talents, Vick will provide administrative support for FK, including receptionist and administrative assistant duties. Vick’s hybrid role will allow FK to maximize her contributions for the firm’s operations.

“We are grateful for Lily’s multitalented background that will also help us carry out critical administrative functions,” said FK Architecture Business Manager Karen Durrance. “As our services and clients expand, Lily’s upbeat demeanor and focus will be great contributions.”

Aylin Rodriguez | Architectural Intern

We are also excited to welcome Aylin Rodriguez as a full-time employee. Aylin first joined FK Architecture as a summer intern and quickly became a valued member of the firm through her enthusiasm, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. After her internship, she officially joined the firm as a full-time Architectural Intern, continuing to build her experience within the collaborative environment.

As an emerging professional, Aylin brings a fresh perspective and curiosity that adds value to the team. She supports project teams across various design stages, gaining hands-on experience while continuing to grow her technical knowledge and design thinking.

Welcoming Lily and Aylin to the team reflects FK Architecture’s commitment to supporting emerging professionals and fostering the next generation of designers. Their creativity, curiosity, and new perspectives contribute to the collaborative culture that drives our work forward.
