Let FK Architecture Take You on the “Tour de Villes”

Across Alabama and Tennessee, FK Architecture is redefining the suburban residential landscape with three recently completed multifamily communities in greater Huntsville, Knoxville, and Nashville : The Robert Madison, Anchor 934 Apartments, and Sanctuary Bluff Apartments. Together, these projects make up what we call “The Villes”. Distinctive, design-forward communities tailored to their regional context.

The Robert Madison – Huntsville, AL

In the heart of Madison, Alabama, just west of Huntsville, The Robert Madison introduces 264 upscale apartments and 20 two- and three-bedroom townhomes to a fast-growing market. The design blends southern sensibilities with warm earth-toned materials.

While The Robert boasts an internal community layout and robust amenity package, its location is more residential. Amenities include a resort-style pool, clubhouse with coworking lounge, pickleball courts, and a dog park, making it a substantial addition to the Madison market.

Anchor 934 Apartments – Knoxville, TN

Just outside downtown Knoxville, Anchor 934 stands out not only for its design but for its context. The 286-unit project is integrated into a broader neighborhood framework, with direct access to two grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and public green spaces. Now leasing and nearly fully occupied, Anchor 934 also features expansive windows, balconies with mountain views, and community spaces including a fitness center, lounge, and outdoor gathering areas.

Sanctuary Bluff Apartments – Thompson’s Station, TN (Greater Nashville)

South of Nashville in Thompson’s Station, Sanctuary Bluff offers 240 apartments nestled in Tennessee’s rolling hills. The community evokes a sense of retreat, with layered landscaping and transitional architectural detailing, including pitched rooflines, generous porches, and natural stone accents.

Designed to support a laid-back lifestyle, amenities include a cybercafé with a coffee bar, a resident business center, a 24-hour fitness studio, a covered picnic pavilion, and a resort-style pool. The site layout enhances a sense of calm and privacy, with scenic views in every direction.

Design with Purpose

Each of “The Villes” reflects FK Architecture’s commitment to intentional, people-centered design, where form, function, and place come together to create homes and community.

“The way architecture connects with the community enhances everyday life, and you can see that in our projects,” says Tyler Scott, AIA, Project Manager on all three projects. “It’s not about just checking boxes, it’s about building places that are authentic, connected, and supportive of how people want to live.”
